​BVM (USN) celebrates Eco-Friendly and Happy Deepawali
A week long celebrations of Deepawali culminated in BVM Campus with the chantings of ‘Ram Naam’ and ‘Jai Sri Ram’. The devoted participation of BVM trust members Sh. P.C.Goyal ji (Secretary), Sh. Manoj Gupta ji (Manager), Sh. K.C. Maini ji (Member),Sh. O.P.Sabharwal ji (Member) and Sh. M.M.Bamba ji (Member), the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi, teachers and  all the students in the soulful rendition of ‘Sri Sunderkand Paath’ lent an air of divinity to the whole premises. Hardik of class V B a student of class mesmerized everyone with his melodious bhajan. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi extended the festive greetings to all for a safe and happy Deepawali, exhorting the students to build a strong nation by overcoming the darkness of jealousy, greed, pride, overindulgence and create a warm and congenial environment in the society based on compassion and fellow feeling.
The ‘festival of lights and gaiety’ was celebrated with ardor & festivity, giving the message of eco friendly Deepawali.  As a part of weeklong celebrations, a skit based on the theme ’Say no to Chinese crackers’ enacted by young artists of class first was really commendable. Sujal, a student of class VII recited a poem giving an advice to light the lamp of knowledge and overcome the darkness of ego. A thorough cleanliness drive was carried out yesterday in the campus and today it was followed by the school room decoration. All the classrooms were ostentatiously and tastefully decorated with handmade art & craft hangings, decorated diyas, slogan charts and rangoli. Mrs. Kiranbala (Science teacher) enlightened the students about hazardous chemicals and pollutants emitted by crackers and advised them to avoid harmful fireworks and save environment.
